Description: This is a county plan that draws on New Urbanist principles. It includes concepts, principles, examples, and guidelines for implementation.
Assessment: This is a good application of New Urbanism. It includes an early, modified version of the Transect. Plenty of illustrations help make the argument for walkable neighborhoods over conventional suburban patterns. It is more conceptual than technical, but the examples have real depth.
